LONG FIBER FORAGE
HAY CUBE BASIC and HAY CUBE are obtained by mixing low-temperature dried forage with flaked grains. The use of artificial drying using hot air allows the green forage to be cut at the optimal time, minimizing the influence of weather on the harvest, since it is freshly cut. The forage is immediately transported to the dryer to bring the moisture level as quickly as possible to suitable levels to ensure perfect preservation.
This minimizes the loss of nutritional value associated with traditional harvesting in the field. The final result is: a higher nutritional value than traditional hay, with a fibre that is easily degraded in the intestine and is mold-free.
For HAY CUBE, during processing, the hay is dusted and mixed with grains, resulting in the characteristic wafer. This process, unlike pelleting, allows the long fibre to be maintained, which facilitates chewing. The addition of grains increases the energy level, making the product very palatable to horses.
