ELECTROLYTES IN PELLET FORM FOR SPORT HORSES
The hard physical work or prolonged training, especially in hot and humid conditions, causes a rise of temperature to the horse body that must be absolutely kept under control. The mechanism used by the horse to cool his body is by sweating, that if in one hand is important to lower its body temperature, on the other hand determines a net loss of water and electrolytes. If water and electrolytes are not properly restored the horse can give signs of dehydration, which are reflected in the muscles, with early exhaustion, cramps and difficulty of recovery after training or racing. As in the body of the horse “there is no possibility to stock electrolytes”, it is fundamental to supply them as soon as possible after the effort, so to restore the normal physiological levels. DOSAGE
Mix properly 50-100 gr of IFM LYTE per day (1-2 scoops) in relation to the training, intensity of the effort and to the environment conditions. Store in a cool and dry place.
