COMPLEMENTARY FOOD FOR ELDERLY HORSES
HORSE FIOC FIBRA is a forage mix particularly suitable for old horses that have difficulty chewing and swallowing traditional long-fibre hay. Due to impaired, worn or absent dentition, old horses may have great difficulty using traditional hay as a staple in their diet. This causes a lack of fibre which can lead to several negative consequences:
1) energy deficiency and consequent weight loss.
2) depletion of the beneficial bacterial population in the cecum and the possible onset
of intestinal problems (cecal acidity, colic, etc.).
Horse Fioc Fibra, thanks to its “flaked” form, is easily ingested even by those with greater difficulty chewing and can also be administered abundantly wet. The use of Horse Fioc Fibra therefore ensures the horse receives the required fibre intake daily.

Supply the product at a rate of 1 kg. per 100 kg of body weight. Leave good quality forage and clean water available.
