COMPLEMENTARY FEED FOR RACE HORSES
HORSE FIOC H16 is based on flaked oats to promote optimal starch digestibility. It contains all cereals in a balanced way with a moderate quantity of oats. The characteristic of this feed is the presence of flaked alfalfa giving an important quantity of easily digestible fibre, at the same time completing the protein amount. The optimal fibre content of this feed promotes longer chewing and therefore consequent greater production of saliva, important for the intestinal environment. These two aspects are particularly interesting for horses suffering from gastritis since saliva and Alfalfa protein have a buffering effect on the excessive production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Like all Italfiocchi Monfort products, also this feed contains optimal vitamin-mineral supplements to meet the increased demands of sport horses. Even if a bit more fibrous than other feeds, H16 efficiently sustains horses during their work so that they can be fed with a product helping them to contain excessive heartburn, increasing their level of well-being without affecting performance.

FEEDING ADVICE
Feeding advice: Supply HORSE FIOC H16 to active and training horses at 0,7/1,2 Kg per 100 kilos of body weight. Leave hay and clean water. Feeding amount may be influenced by age, breed, appetite, exercise, desired body condition.
